A number of marketers wish to identify how my mind works when it comes to affiliate advertising. Wow, that is such a broad subject and not something I can possibly cover in merely one article. So perhaps I’ll do a series of these so you can see how I consider when it comes to promoting affiliate products. I now provide you the former in that series.
I guess the very first thing I do, when searching for an affiliate product to sponsor, is investigate what it is that people are searching for. What difficulties do they have? Are they severe difficulties? Are they difficulties where, due to their severity, they’re willing to spend money? Keep in mind, you can’t sell anything that people aren’t willing to forfeit for. So you have to be extremely careful when selecting a niche to target and a product to sponsor.
What I do is go to debates and discussion groups to detect on what people are discussing about in regard to that niche. I don’t even get engrossed in the conversation unless I have a particular question I need to inquire. I merely observe what’s going on. Usually, only by doing this, I can spot where the need is. People are extremely predictable, trust me or not. Most individual are extremely similar when it comes to certain difficulties. If you attend debates, you will notice the same objections again and again. After some time, you will get an extremely superior sense of what it is that these people actually need. From there, it’s only a matter of locating a product that fulfills that need.
